Hey guys how is everyone doing? What a summer huh? Well anyway I added a few mods for my elite and all was good until I started with the clutch. Ok I bought a koso clutch with the 3 small yellow springs, then I bought that larger spring that goes on the clutch cup and the pulley assembly. I think all the yellow springs are like 1500rpm or something like that right? Anyway. Now with the stock clutch set up I bike ran to 40-43 MPH but now with this new stuff on there it now only goes 25MPH, OH also I added a no rev limit CDI and it is whinding up nice while it is on the kickstand but once I get on it it has a great take off butother then that it would only go 25.

Do I need to messwith the roller weights?? I have a race variator and the blk back plate.

Can somone please help me?

Your center springis too strong ,try switching it back to stock,or maybe only 1000 rpm-which by the way I dont understand how they rate the center springs in rpm?I can see % over stock, but not rpm

it rates it at what speed the clutch is engage at thats how they get the rpm

that's clutch not center, center spring does not work via rpm like the clutch engagement, center spring works by the belt pulling on the rear drive as the front pulley closes the gap

you dont need the stock clutch springs, just the center, you will prob need to go up on the weights to gain your topspeed back, you may even be able to just play with the weights-
Rid ethe ped with the rear trans cover off, ,and see how low the belt is riding on the rear drive,if it's stuck in the middle or high at wot,you need to go heavier on the weights, or try a weaker center spring- I would go with a weaker center spring -1000 rpm/10% andmaybe 3 grams up on the weights

after you change the gear ratio you then change the center & clutch springs, ramp & weights!
