Greetings:

Stock and modified SA16 engines pop up here all the time. The wiring may in fact be Plug-and-Play. The mounting bolts may vary in diameter, fixed with bushings and such. Typically a stock engine sells for around $400 in decent shape. Act quickly, lots of takers for each one that appears.

The wiring is plug and play but the diameter of the bolts is different on the engine mounts.

You just use the af16 hanger (motor mount) and bolt. Also, you need the af16 style spark plug boot, and of course, exhaust pipe.

As far as I know the 87-93 uses a 12mm bolt for the mount like the 94-01 uses so all you do is swap mounts. I don't think I needed to drill anything on my 89 lx50 drag bike and the 87 se50 is definitely 12mm so all you do is swap mounts.
