Head to the dmv and start jumping through hoops... And bring money lol. I just went through the process up in Oregon and while it's not difficult, it takes time to get it done. Research on the Internet before hand as it helps to know the process and the questions to ask. Depending on the teller, they can make it difficult (or impossible) if they don't feel like educating you.

when at the DMV, ask if you can start the registration process of getting your scoot registered as a "Motorized Bicycle"
It's a one time fee of $19. No tags or anything. It might be a hassle, but doesn't hurt to ask.
I have mine setup this way! :thumbwink:

Interesting... Never thought of that but wouldn't that require you to keep it in the bike lane?

No sir. Met a handful of other spree/dio heads that have a "Motorized Bicycle". I think it's pretty tough to get it. I had to send paperwork to Sacramento to get it finalized!
