Honda Spree and Elite 50 Forums

So the stock rubbers on my SE50 are weather cracked to * and thoroughly due for an upgrade..

I'd like to get some that I could really feel more comfortable taking hard turns in, leaning and such. Basically just something that'll allow me to push the bike's limits a bit more safely.

However, I can't seem to find much in the 2.75-10 tire size. Closest I've found is The Michelin S1's in 90/90 but not sure if that will fit. Would like to keep OEm size but still have the performance, if at all possible. They seem to have 80/90 as well, but not in US from what I can tell.

If you guys have any tiny tire scoop, I'd appreciate it

Speed rated at "J" which = 62 mph...not bad.

that's what im saying! Hoops looks to be the sportier of the 3 too. I think I will go with them. Let you guys know how they turn out

The Kenda one in that size is pretty good, really cheap, decent wear, good grip. The Hoop is pretty soft, more grippy, heavier casing, wear is slightly worse than the kenda, but pretty good still, only down side is price, but its not bad. The S1 is probably the best, but it's near impossible to get to seat using tubes as it only comes in tubeless in 10 inch.

The only thing grippier than the S1 would be a slick and they are $$$, but you can get them if you really want. I have not used them as they are about $110 each plus shipping from some place called Europe, but I'm sure you could really rip on them.

Grippy and soft is def what I'm after. Hoops came in last night! They look pretty nice for some tiny tires lol

Not sure what you mean about the S1's not seating. Running a 3.5-10 S1 in rear on my black S, stock rim, tubed no problem. Have ran the same combo before on the red S up in the banner, along with a 3.0-10 S1 front, also tubed no problem

I tried so hard to get mine to seat with tubes, never could. Im glad you have had luck though.

I've had some luck seating tires w tubes by inflating them to about 20 psi then backing them down to about 5 or so, and carefully bouncing it around to even out the seat.
