Looking for anyones opinion on using either a PG Short or a V8 pipe on 50mm 90cc BBK

What do you guys think would be the best pipe to run on these?

Been doing a bit of reading and from what I can see either a PG or a V8, does anyone have any experience with either of them?

I say if you plan on upgradeing the v8 is cheaper and some of the v8s have a wider range then others.

Greetings:

Short for shore is a good solid budget pipe. Corsa 26 went over 71MPH using one. That said not all "V8s" are the same; some older ones with the 13 segments between the head flange and the body were said to be excellent. Now with THAT said, the V8s I have owned were not as good as the Short, and particularly not with bigger (82cc) displacements.

pg long work well on 28mm carb. and good all round performance.

v8 pipe is good low and mid range. no top end speed.

50mm bore is 81cc with stock crank.

So the v8 with an 21mm carb and 50mm bore should pop wheelies if on the 9:1 gears?

On ur spree? Should be wheelies for sure. Especially if u run light rollers 4.5-5.5 heavy contra spring, and 4000 rpm clutch springs.

Puts a smile on my face, what do you think the ball park of the sprees topend would be with an v8 with previous stated motors.

I have an 3k contra and will buy rollers and jets but I need that tourqe because I live on a hill that has an insanely steep hill to get up. I live on the foot hill of an mountain. I wanna be able to hit 60 or 55, but get there quick. 60 is the max I need. Do you think what I need is possible with the v8 or do you think the gp long/short will deliver that 60+?

Thank you much guys I cant wait to get this thing rolling. I submitted my tax return so we will be hauling * here soon @_@.
