is it possible to hook up 2 batterys but have one run the lights and normal scooters operations and the other one specific for the extra stuff like sterio and stuff so it will still have enuph power for the lights even if the radio is draining batt 2?

if you can fit the two batteries on it, then you could run them in PARALLEL (not series, otherwise you would kill stuff) aka: split negative wire, and run one to each battery on the negative terminal, and split the positive and run each to the positive terminal on the battery.
but then you might need to get a bigger charging system (maybe). not sure.

Why couldn't you just run a bigger motorcycle battery. wouldn't that use less space than two ped batts. where could a person get a bigger charging system say for a spree.

wire a on/off switch in between the radio and battery, or yes, hook them in parallel

looks like you got it right, but I doubt that you could separate them between the two things without doing some excessive rewiring.

you could just add a wire from pos to pos nad neg to neg
