electrical (headlight,guages,starter)

My headlight, fuelgauge, electric start don't work untill i start it then the headlight runs off the alternator after i put my tail light, turn signals from my gsxr on the spree. turn signals and brake light work fine whether the engine is running or not. dont know if i blew a fuse that i cant find or what. I'm gonna check it out later with a tester, but was wondering if someone may have seen this before.

headlight is supposed to only be on when scooter is running, (not sure but it is in line with the charging cercuit.)

just the gas gauge now.

Well, if the wiring is intact, it's either the gauge or the sending unit. I have a gauge cluster but no sending unit. I believe there is a testing procedure for the sending unit in the manual.

i had this problem, all the wireing was good, the speedo was good, and i was sumped, after getting all upset, i relized the sender was touching teh side of the tank and wouldent allow it to go up or down.
