So I put together a 94 Elite and I have this part left over. The bike runs OK. What is this part and is it needed? https://imgur.com/EIgFuRX

Thats the air rerouter for the fan shroud to de frost the carb in the winter. Not sure but I would try to tape it or re vivot it back onto the rest of the shroud. Wait for someone with more knodge on temp wise if it is needed or not 100%
