Do the carbs that you see on eBay work for my elite 50s. I think they are made in China or somewhere......... They look similar but hate to invest if they are no good. Thanks. Doug

I can't get the needle to seat properly and it's been sitting outside in an alley for couple years. Have cleaned it best I could and tried 3 needles to no avail. It just continues to leak Tried two floats also.

When you say leak, from where? Maybe your petcock has failed and is dumping fuel into your carb.

You should look for a complete rebuild kit for your stock carb. That should cost as much as a Chinese carb and work better. I've bought 2 oem style carbs off ebay. One worked fine, one literally started dissolving itself when it was full of gasoline. I'd stick w the oem keihin if you still got it, it's probably fixable.

This one should work, and it's from a decent company so you can warrantee it if it's bad. But you shouldnt have to buy the whole carb, you should be able to find a rebuild kit for your carb.
