runs but no power

hey i have an 87 spree and it was running great untill one day i went to start it and it started but had almost no power it went about 2mph then staled... any one have any ideas pleas tell me

Check the plug, clean the carb, bad gas possiably? Pour some seafoam in the tank.

is it hard to start? cold be losing compression out of the bottom end, i had that hapon on a spree once
