is it bad for the engine if the tire locks up when moving? seeing as the engine just stops moving till it idles and the clutch lets go im just wondering cause my back brake is touchy and its locked a few times when the roads wet.

Is that a serious question?

It's bad for your health if the rear wheel is locking. You need to fix that before you continue riding it.

as mentioned that is dangerous. If you do that in a turn it is a good way to lowside the scooter. In a straight you compromise stability when that happens.

engine will be fine, tires and clutch may wear slightly faster.

is your back tire bald? if it has no tread then it would be easy to lock it up on slick pavement. Then again why are you riding a scooter in the rain?
