Got a new scoot...

Brand New '05 Kymco ZX50
I considered the DD50 and Zuma, but the tires with the 12" rims put it over the top. Paid $2000 for it out the door (w/tax, title, license).
I LOVE it so far stock, but it is going to breathe fire when I am done with it. Supposedly it goes 45mph derestricted stock, but I have only been up to 30mph so far breaking it in.
I would HIGHLY recommend it if you can get your hands on one!

i definitely would like some pics. im considering buying one also. where did you get one brand new? i think the zx50 would be the best choice. better than the elite because it has front disc brakes, and better than the dd50 because it doesnt have the goofy fill tube for the gas tank like the dd50 does.

he just posted a link to a dealer that has a few. plus if you go to madison craigslist theres like 4 on there right now. they arent that hard to find. also there are sym dealers. just not many from what i can tell. can you elaborate on what is weaker on their trans compared to the elite s?

I think he is referring to the ZX transmission. I thought I read somewhere that the ZX50 does have that transmission though. I am not too worried about it.

wow. im jealous. that thing kicks *. if i werent buying another bike tomorrow i would definitely be trying to pick one of those up. must be nice having front disc brakes.
