Honda Spree and Elite 50 Forums

New to scooters. I am restoring an 1984 Aero 50. Never owned one before. When riding do you have to squeeze the brake handle to ride and release it to stop or did I do something wrong with the left side brake lever? Any help would be appreciated.

Yes, it is not right, both brakes should be released when your hands are not squeezing the brake handles, and both brakes are applied when you squeeze the brake handles.. just like hand brakes on a bicycle.
