crank case rebuild ?

well Im hooked, Im rebuilding another spree ! when adding 2 cycle oil to crank case before putting it back togther (as it say to do in the manual) how much ? just kinda wet all the moving Parts ? Thanks Bill

ive never done it before. all i do is make sure the piston and rings are oiled along with the cylinder. mix some oil up with your gas too, extra lube for the engine. put a nice high idle on the engine once it fires up and let the rings break in for 15-20min. thats how i do it anyway. :wink:

Oil in the crank case on a 2 cycle?

Are you sure manual says to do that?

i dont really know what the manual says.....thats the way i do mine. 8)

in the manual section 10-5 in the note, it says to add, but how much ?

it means lube up all the moving parts just get em well coated
I am not a mechanic, nor do I play one on TV. Actually my advice is probably worth slightly less than what you pay to view it.

lightly oil but after you press the bearings, you wont have clearance if there is a film of oil on the outside of the bearings
