Hi team,
I did a search, but couldn't find a testing flow chart for the charging system.
My AF27 doesn't charge. The voltage at the battery doesn't increase when the engine is running/the engine revs increase.
On a longer ride the battery slowly discharges until the lights and turn signals completely stop working.
Can somebody please tell me which wires/what to test to identify which component is faulty?

FIRST QUESTION: Does the headlight work when it's running?
The turn sig's and brake light(s) work on battery but, headlight runs off of the lighting(alternator) side of the system. The voltage regulator and rectifier should also be tested to verify they are working properly. Definitely check that the ground is cleanly connected to the block (located under lower starter bolt) and that the bolt is tight. Questions: (1) Has any repair work been done recently? or has anyone changed out any parts recently? (2) Has your scooter been sitting and not running for any long period of time? (one month or longer) (3) Has anyone besides yourself ridden your scooter recently? (4) Is your scooter completely stock? (not modified and no aftermarket parts of any kind)? Please give pertinent answers
