Honda Spree and Elite 50 Forums

So I started messing with the Spree again that won’t run and it still won’t run again lol.

Has Spark
Has compression
Has fresh fuel
Carb is getting fuel
Petcock is working
Ignition key working
Kill switch working
New cdi
New ignition coil

Even starter fluid doesn’t make it pop

Any ideas what to check? Maybe blew a crank seal?

Checked both left and right crank seals today, both were new in 2023 and neither is blown out or leaking.

Pulled the exhaust and some oil ‘did’ come out of that.

Pulled the cylinder and the bore looks nice and smooth
Piston rings are both intact, piston looks good too

I will try and crank it using a drill with the exhaust off next and see if maybe that is the issue.

Otherwise running out of things to check.
