weak spark

What would cause a weak spark? I tried changing the plug and could not get any spark with new plug. Tried another new plug with same result. Connected the old plug and could get spark again but appears weak. Thanks.

well.........do u have the plug gapped right? heres a couple of things that i can think of for u to try. ignition coil might be goin bad, CDI box could be goin bad, pick up coil thats located on the bottom of the flywheel, make sure its clean and dont have any debris on it. thats where u get the spark. i guess i should also ask...........what kind of bike is it??
