I too am curious about installing a boost bottle. Also thinking of upgrading carbs and intake manifolds as well. Keoni at VT Cycles was telling me the other day that the 28mm carb makes the most power on the Dio's and there is an extra port on a few aftermarket intake manifolds for a boost bottle as well.

Did you happen to run your cylinder with the stock carb before you upgraded? If so was there a noticeable difference in power after the carb upgrade? I ordered 9 to 1 gears from VT Cycles as I was already able to do 85 - 90km/h with stock gears at around 9200rpm. This was confirmed with a car driving beside me. I am a little wary of going much faster as the brakes are insufficient as it is. I upgraded the rear tire to a 90/90-10 and noticed a difference in grip and braking and I recommend you do the same. I picked up some Pirelli tires for $38 a piece and am very satisfied with them.

My engine never gets any hotter the 110 degrees celcius even yesterday when it was 39 degrees celcius outside. I have a CHT sensor installed. This is with an 85 jet with the stock carb as well. I don't premix, I am still running the factory oiler. On average my temps are in the 95-99 degree range. They sell a ram air scoop for the fan that should aid in cooling but I have not purchased one as of yet. From what I've been told I can run the motor hotter that I currently am safely so I haven't really been trying to cool it more. My stock carb wouldn't run the motor well either even with the 85 jet until I raised up the needle 2 clips, then the engine smoothed right out.
