Post by busaridda »

Can I use the same battery in a NQ50 AS I CAN A sb50 ELITE E? Also are the plugs the same application? Where can I find a service manual on the 1989 sb50 elite e ....i have been kind of going on the spree manual for my elite e sb 50 .....( i also have a spree)
85 spree, 89 elite, honda tristar,700 sabre......and, a suzi hayabusa :)

I would think you could use the same batteries. The elite Sb50 e and es both use the same battery size and there is limited size that they will accept(usually the smallest motorcycle battery ) and I am sure a Spree is the same.

Also , I use the SA50 manual on this site for my SB50. They are not exactly the same , but I have found most of it to be helpful. The Spree motor is similar to the Elite E.
The only place I have found a cheap Sb50 service manual is on ebay , but then again they can be a little on the pricy side there also :?

I am not sure about the Spree but if I had a Spree also , i would use the same plugs due to how similar they are to the Elite E and get the plugs that are for your style of riding Standard, cold climate or extended high speed riding
