LOSS OF POWER & WON'T IDLE WHEN IT WARMS UP?

I have an 86 spree that starts & runs great till it warms up, than it has a loss of power & won't idle, when it cools it's fine again????

your bystarter (electric choke) is bad/ stuck/ came unhooked

i had the same problem and here's what i did to fix it:

-changed gas and oil (had been in there for 2 years from previous owner)
-cleaned the carb
-played with the idle screw
-changed the air filter
