Elite pulley mod?

Will a Elite front pulley assy. fit on a spree,
I have an 85 Spree that i am working on a few mods,
(tricks learned from my MX days and rc nitro motors)
I want more Speed!!!

Crap, I didnt want to do the front pulley mod cuz i'm not what you would call a "tint hiney" and i have hills near my house.
Any thoughts to increase the speed , besides a pulley mod?

not really. spree engines suck.

if your lookin for torque, find an elite50 engine. it will be worth your wild!!

OK but how much of a nightmare is the wirng harness?
Well that and this motor has like 5 hrs on it

wiring up the engine to the spree............nuttin to it. all the wires are the same color.

just curious, how fast is your spree?

last time I rode it 30's however faster than 35 (downhill) it sounds like it shut off the spark (cdi? rev limiter?)

I saw somewhere that an sb shares (some parts) with a spree. So would a crank swap work?

An SB does have a lot of similar traits to the NQ 50 engines... One of which is that the front pulley is fixed in a very similar way. So similar in fact, that it sucks equally in the "can't add a variator easily" department.
