i think its the carb...

hello all/my spree died on me a few days ago which i thought was a carb problem/i cleaned the carb and put it back together 3 times with no luck/i still pretty sure its the carb because it started choking out a little before it died, and i havent cleaned the carb in a while/any other ideas on what it could be/sorry for being so vague(spelling?)....
I think its the carb

It could be a lot of things. Is the float valve operating smoothly?
Is the air screw and idle screw set correctly?
Is the aircleaner clogged or dirty?
Is the auto bystarter working?
Is the fuel line clogged?
Thats just a few things to check out

if it chocked before it died, could be the air filter, make sure its in there.
can also be the fuel/air ratio, which is most likely the problem. Some details that can help diagnose the problem, would be had it been acting up before it died? did it just die once, and isnt working now?
the more details the better the help
