how many big elites are there out there. seems like most people on this site have 50cc spree and other 50cc two strokes. there is a big elite on the banner of the website so there must be a few.
i owned almost all of hondas small bike line. spree, aero 50, passport 70, trail 90, elite 80, elite 125, elite 150, elite 250 and helix.
the spouse and i bought two elites last summer.
a gold 1984 elite 125 and a silver 1985 elite150.
we have joined a cool scooter club in san diego.
the name is http://scooter.meetup.com/217

I have an Elite CH80.....and a Burgman 650 (for when I REALLY want to go fast).

I am looking for things to do to my CH80 to get a few more mph outta it.

do it, you can go far on an elite. i rode my first elite 150 15,000 miles in one year and the 250 i replaced it with went over 25.000 miles in 2 years. those were the days. it may be easier to find a 250 elite or helix as they were imported more years.

I have been thinking about upgrading to a big elite from my spree. At least an 80. Those are plenty fast for around town in 35 mph zones aren't they?
