Carb Problem?

Post by hondaman »

When I first start up my 86 spree It seems to not want to idle fast enough.
When i adjust the idle then its alright until it warms up and then it idles too fast. It will also bog down once in awhile when I give it full throttle if the engine hasn't warmed up yet. Once the engine is warmed up it runs great.
Could it be that the float is not operating correctly? I also see you can adjust the throttle valve. Could this be the problem?
Any suggestions? Anybody else have this problem and what was your solution?
