Gasket Help!!

So im not sure which way to put the gasket back in my carb... im talkiing about the brown thing with a rubber seal on one side... does the rubber seal touch the other rubber seal (on the carb) or opposite it?

Assemble them so the two rubber rings are not facing each other.

cool, that's what i thought. how tight should the screws be holding the carb to the intake? hand tight?

A little more than hand tight. Use a socket or regular wrench to snug it up tight. You do not want an air leak between the carburetor and air intake or your engine will not run right. Do not go overboard on tighting the nuts or you will strip them.

they need to be tight but dont over tighten lighten i did and mess up the screws.
just get then tight, finger tight might be to loose but if you really have to pull almost as hard as you can to get that 'last little bit' you'll mess them up
