San Diego to San Francisco trip

I've been playing around with the idea of putting a Spree trip to go from Del Mar to Golden Gate Bridge. I mean people do it on bikes all the time, so why not on a scooter?
I figure at least two Sprees with freshened engines/clutches/brakes/tires. MSR bottles carrying emergency reserves of fuel in case we run short between stations (and some GN2)
Spare plugs and tire patch kits possibly tubes.
Sleeping bags and a change of clothes.
The bike route stops every day at a different state park where camp grounds and water should be available most of the time. My main concern is if the route follows bicycle lanes and not sections of bike trails (scooter aren't allowed on trails)
