Buying new parts

If you have to buy new parts for sprees, where do you get them?

I have had great luck with Bikebandit.com they have had everything I wanted so far, gaskets, reed valves carb kits etc... Fot performance stuff vtcycles.com has big bore kits, pulley kits, air cleaners etc... I also just bought a petcock off ebay, half the price from other places.

Honda powersports dealers is were i go, little high on prices but you get your parts in no more them 3days and its honda quality

Bye the way Bikebandit sells OEM parts and they are cheaper than getting them from the stealership.

funny you should mention Honda dealerships. I took the bike up to our local Honda dealer (I bought my metro from them) they sent it over to a bike shop and the guy wanted to put a Briggs/Straten in it. Said the compression was to low. When I asked about comp was he forgot. Didn't forget the price on new engine tho...

AND they look at me like I'm from mars- opps that's Venus!

I'm watching some stuff on ebay. I need a bystarter, set plate and screws. Seems the guy I bought the bike from didn't think the set plate was important enough to put back on the bike.
