Just curious how many miles your Spree has. How far can these things go if they are well maintained?

Mine shows 3699 but my speedo cable broke, a while ago... previous owners tried to repair with a weld that broke soon after I got it (so I have a feeling they repaired it just before I bought it). Havent replaced it because you cant really speed on these little guys. So I really dont know how high mine is, im guessing somwhere up over 6000 because previous owner used it to get to his school daily for 4 years, 20 miles round trip. Personally I fill the tank daily with all my driving. It was in bad shape when I got it but after simple cleaning and repair it still runs like a beast... a slow moving beast, BUT A BEAST NON THE LESS!

speedo cable was broke when we bought it, no clue how many more miles are on it

how many more miles can i expect out of it?

well in cars hondas usually pull 300k before dieing. and these being much much simpler engines and designs, i think youll die before a well maintained honda 2 stroke dies.

I just got an 86 with 6971 miles on it, for free. It's pretty rough. the kick starter won't snap back after being kicked and both rims are bent. I still have hope I can get her up and running.

You can sure tell who takes care of there stuff! 3 Sprees with over 8000 miles each! I hope mine does that well! I guess if you keep the filter clean, the oils changed,and a little maintaince they're gonna keep on chugging

I enjoy cars, but it sure seems like fun just to putt putt around on a little scooter

A couple more days (till my heat insulator comes in) and hopefully I will be!

When i sold my last spree it was about to roll over on 9,000. That thing was very dependable. I sold it to a friend, i think he has put over 300 on it by now. My two project spree's have around 2,000 on each.

Yes, It sure did have over 9,000 on it, that spree's odometer will roll over very soon, I was the buyer of his spree. lol
