thats weird. its not a normal spree. but yeah, look at the speedo, this might be faster then normal sprees but 40 no way.
and you could hit 200 mpg if you go 10mph and have nothing on it. lol

That is a normal Spree. It's 1987, color is "Kriti Blue". The only way to get 200MPG would be to run it for 60 - 80 miles, then push it another 120 - 140. On a nice downhill run, you can get it up to 40MPH I'm sure.
The craziest part is that it has the petcock cover intact!
look at the speedometer, thats not normal for the spree. and look at the petcock cover. it almost looks like its part of the body. split-able down the middle.

It's an 87, did they not change the speedometer display to look like that in 87? I hadn't noticed the petcock cover, that is a much better design that the ones I've seen.
Ok let me clear this up. THE 1987 SPREE WAS THE ONLY SPREE WITH THE PETCOCK COVER PART OF THE PANALS, ONLY YEAR WITH THE NEW SPEEDO AND BEZIL, ONLY YEAR WITH THOSE BLINKERS. YES THAT IS NORMAL FOR A SPREE, JUST ONLY AN 87! haaha so you know.
It's true - the 87 Spree has the petcock cover molded into the side body panels - split down the middle as someone noted. Til I figured out only the 87 is like that I wondered how anyone could possibly lose theirs
