Does anyone have experience with this kit. "HuskieMobileMan" has used it on his ZX50 and he said he was happy with it. Any opinions?

Martin Racing Performance(MRP) - Performance For KYMCO scooter ZX 50 / SYM 50 / HONDA DIO 50 Based ENG Stage 2 PACK #24293

MRP Power Pack - link to page

Price: $379.05 "Sounds really good for what's in it"

KIT INCLUDES Cylinder and Piston kit, Expansion Exhaust Pipe w/ silencer, OKO26mm Carb,
high speed variator, Mnifold assembly(intake and reeds), torq drive spring, clutch set

Isn't a 26mm carb large for a 70cc bike?

I'm looking to make my recently acquired 2000 SA50P a really strong around towner. I would like to build it for torque more then top end.

I have already derestricted it but but only get about 35mph out of it.

Is this kit a good way to go?

Thanks

to fix that image take off '&height=200' so it ends with '.jpg'

Polini Contesta 72cc is a good kit but the corsa is way better. the contesta is less money but less performance.

Is this post in the wrong section of the forum? Is that why no one is replying?

That kit is good but it lacks the most important part the "gear ratio" needs to be changed without it the kit is useless, i use a 28mm oko carb on my 94 elite-s, you can save alot of money if you buy only certain parts.

i was just thinking that yesterday. even with the weakest bore kit you HAVE to have a gear change.

The kit worked well with my ZX50. Stock it ran about 43mph and with the kit I am going around 60mph. I think that is a pretty good gain without changing the gear ratio which would run another $150 or so.

150 or so?!?!?!
what gears are you buying gold plated? Gears are like 45$ at VTCycles. and gears are the most portend thing you can get. no matter what your top speed is thats if your running WOT just to hit that. with a gear change you can hit that speed at lower rpm's. there for cruising at that speed would be allot easier on your motor.
