Does it run up to high rpms? Do a plug chop to see why exactly its running rough and pull off the trans cover so you can make sure everything is intact and OK.

It's also a good idea to not have the scooter running when you pull off the trans cover.

I figured he would figure that out, also you cant run it while missing the trans cover, the cover holds the starter in place.

lol, if its stuck, and you get it unstuck, STILL buy a new cable!

my sundiro's brakes were froze, i got them unfroze, first ride the cable snapped. Yet another fun ride...

Spin the rear wheel when up on the stands.
If it spins freely then the brakes are released.
Me thinks he has carb issues????

lol, yeah i cant believe some one didn't sagest that already, that is a good thing to try...

The carb does get dirty sometimes, and when stuff gets in the jets or tubes or something. the motor will run rough. Some time to the point were at WOT the back tire will hardy turn.

My 92 elite is picky about what air filter i have on it. If i put some thing differnt then the stock air box. when i go to ride the motor sounds ok but it will hardy move. It feels like the brake is stuck on. What type of air filter you got? ( It might be time to clean it up some )
