sorry, posted under wrong topic...was running fine using electric start, I need either a drive pulley gear or driven gear to make kickstart work...anyway, was doing great, now makes a 'whirring' sound and won't start...the battery is new! any thoughts?

The battery is low or the starter is gunked up, both are easy fixes, charge you battery and see what happens, if it still doesnt work pop off the starter and clean it up.
