I need to reupholster GeekMo's seat... I have the fabric and some foam... now what? I'm not sure what I should use to make it stick. It looks like some one used Staples at on point and it also has some old yellow glue.
I thought about using Gorilla Glue or Hot Glue but I'm not sure it'll work.

i believe ....
what you do is you get the foam to the shape you want, then place it on the seat pan thing. You can use some glue here if you want, just dont use super strong stuff because theres a chance it will eat the foam.

now the fabric has to be right also. If you just use one big flat sheet, it wont turn out right.

Once you get it all right, put it over the seat pan, flip it over, now fold the accuse fabric over the edge and use a strong staple gun to hold the accuse fabic to the under side of the seat pan. That way it will hold, but it will look nice too. But i have never done it before, im just going by what i have heard/seen.
Best of luck. Get some pictures too. Im wanting to make a custom seat cover for one of my elites and i want to know how easy it is...

Sweet, thats kinda what I had in mind but wasn't sure.
I'll take a video and pictures. I'm gonna research more on how to make piping as well. We have a place called Jo-Ann Fabrics and they have automatic sewing machines that embroider any images you want.
I'm trying to go with a theme for my bike but it's a toss up between:

I worked at an upholstery shop. I have re covered lots of motorcycle seats, and only on some with a really complex designs did we use glue(upholstery glue) Use a hot hair dryer or heat gun on the fabric to help stretch it. Just don't melt anything. feel free to ask me questions, i can help.
