Lots of Smoke

I just bought a spree this week. It runs good, drives good, looks GREAT. I have been riding it around my neighborhood all week just cruising around for a few minutes nothing major.

Then, today i took it for my first big ride. and when its at full throttle cruising down the road it smokes alot. The smoke is a blueish color which i have read is good, and i have a dirt bike so i know a little about 2 strokes.

Anyways if anyone has any ideas on what could help stop this that would be great.

By the way it was so bad i passed a cop and he pulled me over.

Your probably using the wrong oil/running rich, if it has premix oil in it it will be ok but it will smoke, if some moron put motor oil in it thats bad and it needs to be drained. Do a plug chop to check your not rich.

Drain the oil and put new 2 stroke injector oil in thr reservoir. Sounds like someone put in 2 cycle oil like outboard motor oil. This is not good. If nothing else you will have piece of mind that you are running the correct oil and will not damage your engine.

Thanks I am going to change the oil and the plug and check how it is running thanks alot for you help!
