I screwed the paint up on my Spree by adding black accents to it and i want to go back to the stock look now. I tried using sandpaper to take the old paint off but that was a lost cause. Whats the best way to remove the black paint and get back to the original red? I used the Krylon spray paint for plastic.

You gonna have to sand it all the paint (factory and what you added) off and repaint it red.

d***, thats what i was hoping to avoid. I don't have a mechanical sander and doing it by hand is out of the question i think. I wish there was some kind of solution i could soak the plastic in that would remove the paint.

You can try wiping the area you painted with paint thinner...it might dissolve without dissolving the plastic.

try using wet sand paper, start from a low to higher grade count. I've been using it to take the paint of my spree cause im fixing to paint it. The wet sand paper breaks down the paint without applying much pressure, just wet the area you wanna sand, and the sand paper of course, and just rub over it with a bit a pressure, you'll start to see the paint break down, just remember to keep wetting the area.
