Didnt like the pointed tip so we cut it off

we then laid a coat of texture coatin on floor board and enclosure... then used a Black Vinyl Dye to color them.. as a flat look to it to make it look more like a piece of plastic than a painted panel...

What paint products are you using. I have tried several different paints and I have not really been satisfied with the results.

i use a high build flexible primer from Napa..
Then I just has NAPA run Honda Champion White Paint code and had them mix a 1/4 of it..

Its just automotive paint... but u cant use it on plastic unless you use flexible primer... i.e any plastic bumper needs it..

And NAPA Clear Coat... the best they had... if you use a cheap clear coat it wil have a dingy yellow look to it and with White... its never good! lol

Thanks for the comments
Ill keep ya posted

I know nothing about painting so help me out... If i painted over the plastic before then i'll need to remove that before i put the primer on right? And especially if it was black paint? Or does the lighter primer cover the darker paint?
