Modified R1 pipe to fit 87 Elite

Post by 01silverado »

Finished installing my bore kit. I also have a R1 exhaust pipe for a Dio motor. Has anybody modified one of these pipes to fit an 87. Any pics? Just gettin some ideas before I start cutting and welding.

My friend has cut up a stock Kymco ZX50 dio style pipe to fit his muffler-less 87 S, turned out decent. Using stock header and flange may be easier, since angle is already there.
projects galore :nerd:
