lol. yeah. well i used to own a 76 vette then i sold that and bought a mustang gt.thats why my avitar is 5.0

(5.0 meaning my engine size, compared to the 4.6 ltr. newer stangs)

Vette, I sold My '75 Stingray L48 to buy a 2000 Z28 LS1, the Vette got me more looks but the Z has AC and ALOT more power, last dyno I put 300 HP and 327 FT# of torque to the wheels

yeah, im in the same boat, i sold the vette for the stang and the stang has a lot more power. the reason the vettes in the 70s had no power is because thats when they first came out with "fuel efficiancy"=hp killer. my car has 256 hp and 300ft lbs rite now, because it only has a few mods. but, im planning on buying some more toys for it soon.i like having the torque exceed the hp so much because thats what really throws you back in the seat.

Oh yeah? Well I have a 1976 Chevy Nova with only 50,000 miles on it. It's a four door with checkered seats and when I can get it started, Look out! LOL I know I'm a loser. I got it from my grandma who only used it when she was up at her summer home. It's in perfect condition and I call it my muscle car, but my husband just laughs and shakes his head at me when I do. Still got the white walls though so it's hot!
I just wanted to type something in here to make it look like I'm a car chick too. That's my goal for the summer.

That's the first thing every guy asks me. I wish it were true. But it's only the 305. Like I said...it was granny's car. She didn't go for the "*" engine back then.

LOL. That would be awesome sticking out of the hood of my granny car. I took it to the Harley Davidson restaurant/store that we have here over the weekend. That's where a lot of people go for ice cream when they have cool cars/bikes to show off. For some reason, the white smoke exhaust and the burnt oil smell deterred the onlookers.

LOL

I'm taking my Spree there next and I'm going to part it right next to the Harley's and ask the guys if they want to go Cruisin sometime

after the 70s all the cars droped in power not just the vetts.(leaded to unleaded gas) we race a 12 sec. S-10 with a 350 and still drive it to work every day. (8mpg)
