Hey, I have a bit crazy idea for my Elite. It's fast, for a moped. But come on, everyone would like a little more speed, eh? I have a Briggs & Stratton racing go kart engine mounted to a go kart frame in my garage that I don't use. I was thinking, is it possible to swap that motor into the Elite? :D The B&S motor is chain driven. I'm not quite sure if thats going to be a problem.

Let me know guys.

Thanks

ANything's possible with the right amount of money and fabrication skills. For example: http://www.honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=2297467

But if you have to ask if something like this is possible, I'm going to bet that you don't have the ability to pull it off. Not only that, but it wouldn't make for an ideal scooter engine.

A whole new drive unit would have to be constructed, IDK is the briggs flathead will fit in there with enough clearance to have a shock.

Yeah, that what I was thinking. Hmmm, I guess I'll have to go take a look.
