Speed Pulley choices

I'm getting ready to buy one, but not sure which way to go. Im looking at a KRS one here http://item.express.ebay.com/KRS-SPEED- ... xpressItem
It has 8 rollers (5g each)

Q 1:what is the deal with 8 rollers?, other than when I want to change them I have to buy 8 not 6.

Q 2: Also they mention ELEVATED RAMP GUIDES, do other pulley kits (such as OKO Hi-Speed Pulley Kit Complete) have these? Is it a gimick?

This one here has the standard 6 rollers and comes with various weigts, and 1000 rpm clutch srings...

Q 3: Or should I just go with VT's OHO spped pulley kit?

Q 4: Is there really a speed/performance diffrence between any of them or are they all basically the same? in which case I should just go with the cheapest?

Thanks in advance for any input here.

I would think the 8 roller would wear slower.

I would go with a Kelli Pulley and a #2 Daytona Ramp.

OK... but why? Im trying to figure out what the diffrence is between the brands. They all look the same except for this one...

Which has elevated ramp guides. They say that "ELEVATED RAMP GUIDES ALLOW PULLEY FACE TO EXTEND FURTHER AWAY FROM THE RAMP PLATE GIVING YOU AN EVEN TALLER GEAR AND HIGHER TOP SPEEDS"
Is this BS?
This isnt magic at work, so what is the X factor here that makes one pulley bettter than the next?

Ahhh the gimick pulley, I suggest you stay away from strange pulleys simply because parts for it are harder to come by and KOSO/KRS is no longer making moped parts so you can expect that pulley to go the way of the Dodo. That longer/taller area allows the pulley to travel further out to force the drive belt to go further up. Just about every after market pulley does this. As far as the tried and true "Keli pulley and #2 ramp" it works but doesn't work any better then a OKO carb and a SEF ramp, * the Keli pulley isn't even a great performance pulley it is just pushed by every shop in Hawaii because it has been around for so long and it lasts a long time versus some of the higher performance pulleys that performed better but didn't last as long.

I've personally run many different pulley over the course of 10+ years and i wil lnever buy another Daytona #2 ramp again in my life when I can spend half the price for the same performance from a SEF ramp and have it last longer. IMO biasedopinion I do think a OKO pulley is a better buy over a Keli pulley because it costs less and they run the same.
