Going behind your Spree's back and getting a new Ruckus

I purchased a new Ruckus and it is unbelievable. I still have two registered Spree's and won't get rid of them, but I am happy to have a new scooter to ride when no one is with me. When the wind isn't against me I constantly hit the rev limiter going 45 stock. I also got over 100 miles before the fuel light came on and added a gallon of gas to it. I didn't know it when I bought it, but these things have an ECU like a new car, a catalytic converter, EGR valve and lots of crazy relatively new to scooters technology. I have to pay $96 a month for it for two years, but I can get along on faster roads now than I could before. I feel bad for abandoning the Spree as a daily driver, but sometimes it was just painful driving an Iowa Spree on flat ground or up a hill. If you guys have any questions about these machines, let me know. I am very happy about the purchase and would recommend one.

I'd consider a Super Cub if they sold them in the US, but both the Metro and Ruckus both seem overpriced to me in comparison.

I have a 2007 ruckus and they are awesome!!!
Just one warning, If you start modding that thing it will be hard to stop,
there are so many aftermarket items available it's crazy. Enjoy your ruckus :D

Yeah, battlescooter is a good source even though a bit pricey. Most of that stuff is imported by battlescooter from japan, all jdm stuff, which is probably why it's expensive. but there's also bowlsla.com and ebay is always pretty good. definitely not cheap to mod your ruckus :(

I installed a new stinger exhaust recently but the rest is the same.
They really are lots of fun. I think maybe for 2009 they might be fuel injected.

Yeah, I've been following this build as well. Pretty crazy. I'm still anxiously awaiting the finished product.
