Excess Gas in the case?

Hey again.. i've posted quite a few today.. but i was wondering what else could cause an excess amount of gas in the bottom of the crank case?
If gas overfills the bowl in the carb, it can drain out towards the front of the bike, down the intake, and into the crankcase.
