Hard driveway bump on idle kills engine

When I am turning into a driveway, some of which are pretty rough, I let off the throttle and coast up the bump so it won't be so rough and it ends up killing the engine. Is this due to poor adjustments or is that just normal?
I don't have any problems with WOT when I hit a bump in the road, only when I'm idling and coasting up the bump of a driveway. I guess I may need to just give it a tiny but of gas to speed up the engine but not enougn to speed the scooter as I'm going up the bumps. It's mightty annoying to have the engine die on you when you pull into a driveway, especially if someone pulls in behind you, could get run over very easily that way.

Use a more throttle to prevent stalling and apply some brake to keep the speed under control. Make sure to use both brakes, or just the front brake, but not only the back brake alone when cornering otherwise one day the * end of the bike will get loose on you and down you will go.

Just the front will mess you up too.

Well then i've been lucky, front brakes are all i have.

Hit the front brake too hard and you'll do a wheelie on the FRONT tire.

It's alot harder to lock up the front wheel accidentally. The back wheel is really easy to lock up, and if the wheel is not straight up when it locks up, you've got a really good chance of dumping the bike, especially if the pavement is wet.

The back brake was way too loose when I got it. It barely slowed me down at all. I tightened it slightly and now it's much better. Still loose enough I can apply it and it doesn't almost stop me dead in my tracks but works well enough it doesn't take half a block to stop me. The front brake is much tighter than the rear.

How about with your feet over the handlebars, too?
