I've read about the restrictor at the flange near the head, mine doesn't have one. Is there a difference in the actual muffler itself and not the pipe leading to it? Is there a difference in the size of pipe leading to the muffler as well? If so what size pipe is on an SE50's muffler. I am a pretty good welder/fabricator and if the difference between the two mufflers is simply the pipe leading to the muffler then I could mandral bend some new pipe and replace with a larger diameter pipe. Thanks. Mc

the se50p has a smaller pipe than the one on the se50 if you do a search for se50 there is a post with a picture of the two.

basically the se50 pipe is the same diameter all the way from the muffler to where it bolts to the engine.
