Honda Spree and Elite 50 Forums

I have an 86 Spree that smokes excessively the first minute of running, I'm thinking that the oil pump is bleeding down into the engine crankcase when it's not running.
My question is whether or not the oil pump can be rebuilt and if so where can the kit be purchased?

Im not sure if it can be rebuilt, most people just replace it. You could try taking it apart and seeing what sort of seals it takes.
