I brought a 1988 honda elite lx scooter last month and am having trouble getting it to start. I have changed the battery, spark plug wire, and the voltage recifier. With all of this changed I still have the same problem, it will not fire. There is spark, fuel, and compression. Can anyone please tell me the next possable component that is stopping me from starting this scooter.

How many PSI? crank i over without a spark plug. Listen through the hole, if it doesn't make a pop sound every time the piston goes down its reeds or a crankcase leak.

There is a popping sound when the piston goes down. The psi was between 25 and 30. Is this good pressure in the cylinder case

You also need a compression tester with a schrader valve at the end of the hose that screws into spark plug hole, if it's further up the hose it will be inaccurate. 120 psi is good.

Test it wide open throttle too!

30psi of compression is trashed piton/rings/jug. Neede to tear down to find out.
