im about to be ordering my gears, but im not for sure what i want. They will be ran with a Polini Corsa and PG long pipe, keli varator and 28mm carb. and purple wheels

I would most like to have a fast 20-50, but i would also like to be able to pop a wheelie once in a while, and take it up to 65+ if i get on a road capable of it.
heres what i want,
if youve got gears in your bike, tell me what ratio, top speed, and strongest acceleration points. (and engine mods)
also feel free to suggest anything to me too.
right now im thinking 7.5:1 from daywot.

the PG is the best pipe for top end. but it is not the best for take off. For that reason alone i would go with the 7.5:1.

I have 7.5:1 from VT and a v8 pipe. Once I get up to about 5mph it takes off like a rocket to about 35-40... I'm still breaking in the engine though so I haven't had a chance to really open it up.

With that combo (once tuned), you'll have more than enough power to push any of those gears.
I think that you'll be happier with either the 7.5 or the 7.0.

It's the SA50P... I believe it was the 1994 Elite S, but it didn't have the split throttle cable so I don't know. Oh and I it's a 75cc bore.

I have Pg long and 7.5 to 1 gear and the take off feels slow but the top speed is good. I gonna try 8.44 to 1 and see if it has a better take off.

I'm running a 72cc Polini Corsa, 28mm OKO and PG Long with 8.44 gears. I'm happy with the gears - 8.44 is a nice all around ratio to run with a big bore kit.

Yes I have a corsa, and yes the take off is slow. Try 8.44 t o1 gear and let me know how's the take off.

can you do wheelies

Add 4K clutch springs to that setup and you will do wheelies whether you want to or not

well i messaged him and told him to switch to the 8.44 from the 7.5. hopefully he'll read it before he ships it all.
