hard starting and leaking gas after I turn it off

When I start my spree, I have to kick it a few times and have the throttle wide open for it to start.....it idles descent for like 10 seconds then kills....after it kills gas comes out the overflow

also i cleaned the carb, gas tank, and replaced the spark plug

Did you put the carb together wrong? is the bottom screw in all the way? Try replacing the needle.
I am not a mechanic, nor do I play one on TV. Actually my advice is probably worth slightly less than what you pay to view it.

yes just buy a whole rebuild kit for the carb

There are like 3 screws or what ever on the carb. When your taking the Carb of and cleaning it you have to count how many turns it takes to get them out or else you will make a tun more work for it to get it running again.

kinda sounds like your needle valve is sticking. It would cause it to get too much gas. and if it was stuck open after shutting it off it would flood the carb and come out of the overflow
