Honda Spree and Elite 50 Forums

I just bought a kick start cover off of ebay for my 84 spree. being so excited that I had finally found one (I have been searching forever) I failed to notice that the listing never listed the year of the spree it came off of, it just said "Honda Spree Kick Start Cover" or something like that so I assumed it would fit. When I got it and began making the swap I noticed that the shape was a little different and after holding it up where it should mount I am quite certain it will not work. can anyone help me find out what year/s this will work on so I can try selling it?

It looks very similar to my stock 84 cover except that it is a bit taller and more round in the front. There is also an additional bolt hole in the front of the new cover.

If anyone is in need of a cover like this mystery cover I need to get rid of it so please let me know.

Also, I am still in need of a kick start cover as a result so if anyone has one I am also interested in that.

You probably got a SB50 (stands for Sucks Balls) elite cover, the motor looks similar to a spree. And to do the kicker conversion you need the front pulley outer half from a 86 or 87.

thanks, I already have the outer pulley that I need, I guess I will just have to post that cover back on ebay and keep looking...

Can you get some decent photos of that cover. I have an SB50 that I'm trying to find a cover for. If it looks like it would fit my case I'd be interested in buying form you.
