CATEYE cyclometer for cheap is the way to go. Or get a speedo cable, if that's the problem, which it probably is. Someone on here may have a spare, otherwise hit up the boyz on ForumsHawaii.

you just put a drill bit into the bottom of the exoust. And drill two holes. Someone will explaine better.

My 87 does 42 and 45+ if I lean into speedometer to be more aerodynamic. Don't you have someone who can follow you and get an accurate mph? And I can lift front wheel off ground if I lean back a little.
